An extraordinary rosé Champagne made at the Perseval-Farge family estate. This is a blend of the 3 great grapes of the Champagne region: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. Together, these grapes render an elegant, dry yet giving Champagne that will impress any and all lovers of sparkling wines.
Usually when paired with sweet desserts, dry, sparkling wines seems overly assertive and acidic. But fret not, I have the perfect pairing. Strawberry shortcake, the not-too-sweet dessert consisting of fresh summer strawberries, whipped cream and lightly sweetened biscuit pairs perfectly with the Perseval-Farge C. de Rosé. This rosé, with a high proportion of Pinot Noi,r shows off its beautiful red fruit, the likes of red cherries, raspberries, and, of course, strawberries. Extended lees time, five years minimum, offers aromas of cream and crème Anglaise. Keeping in style, Perseval-Farge uses 40% oak-aged reserve wines, which balance out the fresh fruit and creaminess with notes of toast, biscuit, and brioche. A stunning pairing that hits all the sweet spots!

Terroir,...

These winemakers control every...
From Champagne to Chablis, it's hard (not to mention unpleasant) to avoid this famous white variety. During a huge popularity surge beginning in the late 1980s, Chardonnay plantings have increased dramatically -- not only in California's wine country, with which the variety is nearly synonymous, but also in Burgundy (its original, Old World home) and just about everywhere else in the winemaking...
