A crisp, clean Chardonnay from a cool climate vineyard on the east side of Seneca Lake. These vines were planted in 1988.The grapes were whole-cluster pressed into stainless steel tank for the primary fermentation. The wine was aged on the lees for 12 weeks and in order to preserve some acidity, malolactic fermentation was blocked. Unoaked.
