Beaujolais. Yes, the most classic holiday choice and for a damn good reason. It’s reliable! Beaujolais has everything you look for in a life partner. It’s cheerful, bright and well… it tastes amazing. Marcel Lapierre is one of the most notable producers in the region of Beaujolais, making kick-ass wine like it’s his sole purpose in life… because it probably is. This is his entry level Gamay and lucky for us you can get this bottle all over the place and it’s under $15.00! This juice is as chuggable as it gets, but it’s not all-laughable cranberry laced fun. It also has a sophisticated side. Lean with a dusty tannin that manages to stay light on it’s feet with a brilliant acidity that caresses the back of your palate. Cherry blossoms, blood orange peel with a touch of baking spice. You can’t get better than this holiday cheer.

Beaujolais Nouveau is perhaps the most gulpable wine...
