A 15th Century estate purchased by the Rothschild family in the 1970s. Needless to say, the direction of the winery has improved remarkably ever since. For such a great vintage, this Médoc wine is still youthful and has the guts to continue aging for many more years. Pronounced fruit, spice from the oak aging and cassis dominate.
