Tasting Notes

The Anichini family tree dates back to the middle ages in Tuscany. With a mere 4 ha of planted vines, Francesco Anichini's Campo dall'Orzo comes from the family's finest, oldest vineyards in Cecione from a plot planted by Francesco's grandfather. Fermented with native yeasts, vinified in cement tanks then aged in large, old oak barrels for a year. An excellent expression of Sangiovese meant for the table.
