Furie is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Redfoot Vineyard in Lincoln Lakeshore. A lighter, vibrant Cabernet that was fermented with indigenous yeast as 100% destemmed fruit in large concrete tanks. Staff Pick Notes

We always express wine as a product of terroir, but wine can also be an escape to the wondrous lands they hail from. Pearl Morissette takes us to Ontario where François Morissette organically farms two vineyards. Morissette previously worked under regarded domains in Burgundy such as Roulot and Henri Gouges, with the intention of starting his own project. Morissette looks for optimal ripeness and hand-harvests to achieve balance in his wines along with vinification in various vessels based on what the grapes offer him. His Furie is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, vinified in concrete and large oak, allowing for more fruit character while chiseling a lighter textured wine. Notes of plum, black currant, violets, and a touch of graphite are supported by powdery fine tannins and fine-tuned acidity. Put that on your social media!
