Another classic like Oban in the Diageo stable. Althought it may not have as much of the coastal element, this bottling delivers a wider range of flavors than nearly any other Scotch single malt in its tier.
**Little Bay** Oban is a remote seaside town in the Western Highlands. Its coastal origins are readily apparent in this malt, with a fresh sea-air quality, medium weight and gentle sweetness.
As a synonym for Scottish, some people object to the term “Scotch” – but as far as their whisky goes, the Scottish people are required by law to classify the spirit as “Scotch whisky.”
