Tsukinokatsura, "Heiankyo" Daiginjo

Item # 45374

Tsukinokatsura dates back to 1675, and has been the preferred sake of Japanese literati for centuries. Heinakyo means peaceful capital, as Kyoto is the former capital of Japan, and was one of its previous names. This is a rich and slightly savory daiginjo, with fruit aromas and is medium-bodied. Pair this with Kyozushi and preserved herring.
