The vines that produce this wine lay on a small granite plate, Piana Rotaliana, rich of limestone and hidden between beautiful mountains. It used to be a riverbed but in the middle of the nineteenth century, the path of the Noce River was diverted. Now the area is divided into small plots based on the qualities of the soils. Names are provided by the winemakers. Foradori is a small plot. Flavors of black fruit, dark berries, and citrus, are followed by chocolate and herbal notes in this wine. The Teroldego grape is related to Syrah and the similarities are noticeable, especially in the body. This wine can evolve in the bottle or be enjoyed young when the fruit aspect is more pronounced.
