What an impressive example of classic Madeira! Slightly sweet with a deep amber colour. A bit reminiscent of an Amontillado sherry with a rich full seductive nutty nose and hints of petrol, tamarind and coco. This is followed on the pallet by more tamarind and coco, along with a touch vanilla, hazelnut, cinnamon, and all spice. It has a long bright finish, brimming with acidity that begs for another sip.
