Staff Pick Notes

Are you a young person with an old soul? Are you simply impatient? Are you looking for red Burgundy with some age on it but don't want to/can't afford those prices? Domaine Rémi Jeanniard to the rescue! The 2016 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes is sourced from 3 parcels: Les Chardannes, Les Drazeys and Les Herbues. All planted between the years of 1920-1975, these old vines give great depth, concentration, and minerality. Earth, wet leaves, dried red fruit, and a sanguine-copper note all come together harmoniously. This is a wine that appears and tastes wise beyond its years. Traditional winemaking with low sulphur addition, makes this a red Burgundy to seek out!
