1.5
Item # 34705

Classic, refreshing Grüner Veltliner that is full of bright citrus fruits and crunchy acidity. We love this wine for its minerality and versatility at the table. Seafood and poultry, yes. Roasted vegetables, yes. Featured at a party with friends, definitely.

Staff Pick Notes

This Grüner Veltliner from Kamptal is in a box for both your convenience and pleasure. If you, like me, enjoy having only a glass or two of wine at time, sometimes a whole bottle is too much and goes to waste. The packaging for this wine is airtight—if you leave this box undisturbed in the fridge the wine will still taste fresh for as long as a month. Bright and fresh with loads of crisp minerality, Steinschaden Selektion is everything you want an Austrian white to be. It's fermented at low temperature in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh aromas of ripe fruit. Have a couple glasses with dinner—or before dinner—or, take this relatively light box equal to 2 bottles of wine to the park for a picnic. Grüner Veltliner is a great food wine and pair especially well with vegetable dishes.

Blauer Zweigelt), which yields full-bodied wines, deep in color and featuring bold flavors of...
