This is a blend of a straight Bourbon (BOU) and two rye (RYE) whiskies. There is a sweet maple and vanilla beginning, but then the rye comes to the party conforming the whiskey to something more edgy and spicy. After years of this only being available at the distillery this is back briefly and in very limited quantities by popular demand. The brand is claiming casks for this current blend that have matured over 10 years, some significantly so.
