Staff Pick Notes

An exquisite beautiful Rosé Champagne that is both charming and powerful and one the least expensive Tête de Cuvée. Drappier make some of the best under the radar Champagne and are one of the few Champagne houses that grows all 7 of the allowable grapes in Champange. If you every get a chance to taste the Drappier, Blanc de Quatre Blancs it is an absolute delight. Most Rosé in Champagne is made with just a touch of Pinot Noir or Meunier for color but here fully 70% Pinot Noir is used. Drappier is known for Pinot Noir and they have been growing in this area since 1808. 10 years on the lees gives this wine a textural complexity that is unmatched add to that some rip roaring acidity and this wine at 16 years is just getting going.

It is a flexible, eager-to-please grape, responding well to just about anything a winemaker...
