Petit Chablis is a white Burgundy that's made in its own appellation of Petit Chablis outside of the vineyards covered by the Chablis appellations. The vineyards come from a Portlandian soil which is distinct from the beloved Kimmeridgian soils that render a trademark mineral aspect. This bottle is more fruit-driven, fresh and lively and clearly of substance. Pairs well with grilled vegetables and crabcakes.
