It's in the name, RTD, ready to drink but is it really like pop it open and take a chug? For one thing you better at least get it chilled and even then I'm not sure if you gonna want to drink this on its own. Don't get me wrong, this is delicious but some zhuzhing is in order. A better name might be already mixed cocktail cause this definitely simplifies things. Over ice with a twist of citrus would be my preferred zhuzhing but feel free to experiment. Umeboshi is a type of very sour salty preserved plum, this leaves out the salt to lend a delightful fruity sourness that mixes great with the whiskey and sparkling water of the classic highball.
