Glenmorangie 15yr Cadboll Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Item # 44596 750mL

This limited release of whisky from this storied Highland distillery is without a doubt one of the most compelling they have put in bottle to date. Made exclusively from barley grown on the Cadboll Estate and hitting a sweet spot in age where the character of the grain is matched perfectly with the added complexities of age. A truly well done whisky of distinction.

Staff Pick Notes

Finding age statements on whiskies these days is getting more and more difficult, to say nothing about the quality of cask selections used to mature the distillate before bottling. In the case of this release, Glenmorangie has given us a chance to experience their own barley from the local farm around their distillery, in addition to solely using first-fill, ex-bourbon casks for at least 15 years of uninterrupted aging. This whiskey combines elegance and depth, with citrus and orchard fruits fusing with creamy vanilla and a drying spice on the finish that reveals the impact of the oak. A worthy journey for all whiskey enthusiasts.
