Wine made from grapes grown without synthetic pesticides, fertilizers and herbicides in the vineyard.

Tasting Notes

Sourced from foraged wild apples tha grow along the Hudson Valley's Callicoon Creeks, this off-dry cider is a throwback to the past. Cider was once the colonial drink, and this tannic style fermented with wild yeasts is an attempt to recreate that. Pair this with roasted squash and succotash.

Staff Pick Notes

If you are like me, you welcome autumn with open arms. No more 100 degree train stations, air conditioning bills, and sweat-soaked shirts. Smells of wood burning fireplaces, warm, cozy sweaters and, of course, apple season are a few of the reasons autumn catches my heart. With apple season comes pies, tarts, apple butter, and, my favorite, delectable apple ciders including Aaron Burr Cidery's, "Callicoon Creeks," Homestead Apple Cider. This 500ml bottle is packed with rustic apple charm made from unsprayed, wild, and uncultivated apples foraged in the hills above the north and east branches of the Callicoon Creeks. A beautiful floral nose of orange blossoms and apple blossoms hits you first, while the slightest bit of appley funk adds complexity. On the palate there is a medium-plus effervescence with a slight tannic bitterness.
