Drawn from stocks distilled in 2016 and 2017, each made from malt that was peated anywhere from 20-50 ppm, the spirits were then aged in a mix of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks in the intense humid microclimate of southern Japan. The honeyed malt and gentle spices combined with the smoky peat and tropical fruits from the aging enviornment make for an unbelievably compelling whisky, even at this age. Extremely limited availability.
