Like holding up a mirror, this bottling is a reflection of the Ichiro's Malt Double Distilleries expression that takes single malts distilled at Mars Shinshu and Chichibu and ages them at Chichibu. In this case the same combination of whiskies were aged at the Shinshu distillery in the mountains of Nagano. Bottled at a natural cask strength the whisky sings with vibrant orchard fruits, caramels, vanilla, sweet spices and hints of tropical fruit. Malty and broad on the palate with a seasoned lingering finish. An excellently executed and captivating creation. Very limited availability.
