Romeiko is an ancient grape variety from Crete that is being revived on the western part of the island in the area of Chania. This is a dry white wine, a blanc de noir, in spite of the Romeiko grape itself taking on a myriad of skin colors starting with red. On the palate, you'll find gooseberry and citrus aromas. An excellent pairing with oysters or ceviche.
