Tasting Notes

Barvírka means teinturier in Czech, meaning that the grapes flesh is pigmented in addition to its skin. It also contains r, perhaps Czech's most notorious sound! This is mostly Dornfelder, Zweigelt, and a few unknown white varieties. Dark-fruited, with lighter body and tannins, this is fresh and a bit like Beaujolais from another realm. Pair with mortadella, mostarda, and some sharp cheese.
