Azienda Agricola Bianchi has been producing wines in the village of Sizzano since 1785. This traditionally styled Ghemme is made from Nebbiolo, and is held at the winery until it has aged a bit, and is ready to drink. A dry, medium-bodied red with robust structure, dark fruit, herbs, and leather. Pair with mushroom risotto.

Piedmont

The most famous grape in Piedmont is the noble Nebbiolo, which makes the long-lived Barolo and Barbaresco.
