Rhums this old, especially from this part of the world, are virtually unheard of and while twelve years may not seem that old, the fact that this was entirely aged on the island makes the aging even more extreme - the equivalent of nearly a quarter century of continental aging by most measures. The rhum itself is at once powerful and extremely elegant with flavors that come in steady waves the wash over the taste-buds, each leaving their trace. Limited to 300 bottles.
