Riesling "Ried Loibenberg", Pichler-Krutzler - 2019

Essentially a Smaragd in all but name, Pichler-Krutzler is not a member of Vinea Wachau, so cannot use the classification designations. Made from the highest quality and ripest Riesling, Loibenberg was first mentioned in 1253 as Austria's first vineyard. Dry, mineral, and intense, this racy white will age for years to come. Pair with crayfish in saffron cream sauce.
