Imereti's indigenous white grape Krakhuna is a favorite of this small family winery in the village of Zestafoni. A dry skin contact white, this spends 3 months on the skins, and an additional 6 months aging in qvevri. Medium-bodied, tangy, and with a light tannic structure, this will pair well with grilled fish in herb, walnut, and pomegranite sauce.
