While this distillery is slowly becoming a household name, they are already legends in the industry for their unmatched technical prowess in all aspects of whiskey making. Having helped develop many of the famous recipes for the biggest brands they are dialing in their skills to their own amazing whiskies. This single barrel was picked by the preeminent PM Spirits team and was made from a sweet mash of rye and aged for just under five years in a single char #4 barrel from Independent Stave. Bottled at cask strength with a total yield of less than 200 bottles.

Wow! This stuff is great! Our friends at PM Spirits made this pick and we have a few bottles to tide us over until our next Astor single barrels comes into stock. The balance of new char oak and clean fresh mash distillate make this almost 5 year old whisky perfect for sipping. The mouth feel is full and powerful with out being harsh and the finish lingers will with pleasant burn that is to be expected at nearly 57% abv. Just a wonderful whiskey!
