This estate has been run by the Fontan family for four generations. Located in the beating heart of the region, their older Armagnacs epitomize the highest standards of this regal spirit. Bottled from a single cask filled in 1998 and aged for nearly a quarter century, this limited expression was bottled in 2021 at a natural cask strength with zero additives. This is a powerful vintage and this cask is uncanny in its ability to maintain balance while the flavors range from dried tropical fruits, spices and tobacco, to espresso and dark chocolate. Astounding character.
