Entirely old vine Lagrein up to 60 years old, this is the Mayr family's reserve wine that has only been made in stellar vintages. Aged for 2.5 years in French oak barrels, and a further 2 years in bottle. This earthy and savory dry red is medium-bodied and herbaceous. Deemed atypical by the DOC, it bears the vino rosso label. Pair with Tyrolean goulash.
