Item # 49007

From Oita Prefecture. A well-balanced saké with a smooth, mellow taste and full flavor of rice, nuts, and cocoa. Best when served warm for added complexity and structure, but can also be chilled.

Staff Pick Notes

Some call it subway or train saké, but the cute glass is perfect for both home and on-the-go situations. Nishinoseki Daruma Cup Saké is from Oita Prefecture in the southern Island of Kyushu, Japan's third largest and most southwestern Island. While this is a remarkably smooth and easy to drink saké, it has a full flavor with a nice, almost chewy, texture. Can be warmed though I really enjoyed it chilled while watching a movie in the theatre.
