It has been a little while since we've been able to offer a new Astor pick from this distiller and, dare we say, this is the best one yet and well worth the wait. The spirit itself was distilled in earl April of 2015 and aged for 8yrs in a single char 4 barrel assembled from 6 month matured oak staves by the peerless Independent Stave Company. The barrel spent the entire 8yrs aging in this special barrel on the 8th floor of Warehouse V, Rick 7. The power and concentration in this Bourbon is the platonic ideal of this brand.
