Villányi Cabernet Franc, Hummel - 2014

Horst Hummel is from Germany, but his great grandfather was a winemaker in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. This Cabernet Franc spent 2 years in used 500L Hungarian oak barrels, and this variety is the specialty of Villányi. A rich and lively medium-bodied dry red, this has aromas of dried fruits, laurel, peppercorn, and herbs. Pair with roast mangalitsa pork.
