Starlight has become one of the most talked about distillers in whiskey circles this year. How did a family farm distiller dating to 1843 just outside of Louisville go virtually unknown for so long? Well, those days are over. They are making and bottling rock solid whiskies and specialty releases like this one that have an eager waiting audience. Aged for over 4yrs in new charred American oak to establish that unmistakable bourbon DNA, this small batch was then finished for several months in Brazilian Amburana Wood imbuing it with just enough of the wild tropical and spiced notes that wood is famous for.
