A special single cask series created to celebrate the famous Bakemono Zukushi or 'Monster Scroll' of 18th Century Japanese folklore, this series also showcases the astounding breadth of this independent family distiller. Hailing from their souther low elevation Tsunuki distillery in Kagoshima, this lightly peated single malt was distilled in 2019 and aged in a single ex-bourbon barrel for 4yrs and 2 months in the intensely humid climate this region is famous for. Bottled at a natural cask strength. One of the finest and rarest Japanese Whiskies you could get at the moment.
