The naturally dark burnished red mahogany color and the concentrated yet expressive notes are the tell tale signs of this noble category and this regal domaine. From the 2004 vintage, this Armagnac has been aging in the centuries old chai next to the chateau for 19yrs in a single cask, untouched, no additives, unblended. The notes are decadent with quince paste, cherry pie, almond croissants, treacle, toasted coconut, spicy tobacco and bittersweet cocoa. Old Bourbon drinkers rejoice!
