Our first single barrel selection in over a year from this distiller has arrived exactly at the time of year when you want this style of whiskey in your glass. Part of the Sazerac family and under the guidance of Buffalo Trace's Co-Master Distiller Danny Khan, somehow 1792 is still overlooked considering its towering pedigree - but not by us. We would never make the mistake of passing up a crack at single barrels from this address.
Distilled in 2016 and aged for 8 years and 4 months in a custom 6 month natural air seasoned heavy char 4 Independent Stave cask on the 6th floor of Warehouse P, Rick 8 prior to being bottled at a full cask strength of 62.5% abv. on June 20th, 2024.
