Made from Sev Areni, another name for Areni Noir aka Areni, that was destemmed. The 041 is the vineyard site - the soils of which are volcanic and in the province of Vayots Dzor. Aaron Sedrick Rawlins left the U.S. when he was 18. He was ultimately led to where he is now: making wine in the mountains of Armenia with Maral, his wife. They farm naturally ungrafted old vines (some 150 yo!) of local varieties. No sulphur was added to this wine.
