The Nikka Nine Decades Blended Whisky

Simply stating a roll call of component whiskies that went into this expression, remarkable as they are, wouldn't even begin to scratch the surface of the importance of this once in a lifetime whisky. Such as they are, the stocks singled out for this whisky are nothing short of the history of post war Japan in a bottle - and you can taste it. Starting with a foundational 1945 single malt from Yoichi it continues with extremely rare malts from five others under the Nikka umbrella including but not limited to - 1968 Miyagikyo single malt, 1966 sherried Ben Nevis single malt, 1980s Coffey distilled Grain and Malt whiskies as well as two very special appearances from the brands newest southern distilleries. The average age of the three major malts alone is over 30yrs each. There is truly 90 years of Nikka history inside and out of this expression and we can testisfy that it is qualitatively simply one of the best whiskies we have ever tasted in our lives. Only 4,000 bottles were released for the entire world.
