Michel Huard Astor Select 23yr Single Cask Calvados - 2001

An Astor Select Single Cask expression hand-picked on site in the cellars at the historic domaine. This expression, distilled at the turn of the century, when the namesake that made the domaine famous for its quality - Michel Huard - was still in charge of all areas of production - is nothing short of a piece of calvados history. But we didn't pick it for the history. We picked it for the extraordinary quality and flavors. Incredibly fresh after just under a quarter century aging in barrel, the brandy is almost split in thirds with flavors that hit on cider, whisky and traditional apple leading calvados. The flavors unfold on the seamless palate in textbook Huard style. Very limited.
