Tears of Llorona No. 3 Extra Añejo Tequila

Tears of Llorona No. 3 Extra Añejo Tequila

1 L
Item # 54174

Created by Master Distiller Germán González Gorrochotegui, who is the patriarch of tequila royalty, one of the oldest families in the region who created Chinaco and helped found the tequila industry. With the first bottle created in 2009 and the first tiny commercial release in 2014, this was was one the very first ultra premium tequilas that was put in the same league as comparable bottles of single malt and other traditional collectible categories. Traditional artisan processing of the highland agaves and a double distillation in copper pot stills leads to an average of 5 years of aging in a unique combo of Scotch, Sherry and Brandy casks prior to bottling at an elevated proof. The screen printed glass liter bottles add extra class and premium feel. Notes include cherry, caramel, warming oak, gentle smoke, pepper, butterscotch and dark cocoa.
