Knob Creek Astor Select Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey - 2015

After years of asking we are thrilled to finally have been able to select our very first cask strength single barrel from this iconic brand. Barreld on September 24th, 2015 and matured entirely on the 4th floor of Warehouse Z, Rick 8 for just under 10yrs - bottled May 20th, 2025 right after we hand selected it onsight at the distillery in Clermont, Kentucky. High toned and fiery for sure - two elements that should be part of every great Knob whiskey, the profile leans into notes of candied apples, sweet oak,peanut butter, sichuan pepper spice, fresh caramels, pipe tobacco and deep resonate char flavors. A powerful very low yielding barrel with only 95 bottles available !
