The Rums of Mexico Melaza Con Muck

Made by two dear friends and first generation distillers operatiing our of their Saturnal Distillery on the outskirts of Guadalajara the duo, Pedro Andrés and Jorge Nájera, revel in experimentation and the abundance of the diverse natural resources at their doorstep. Inspired by the great historic rums of the Caribbean, this molasses basd rum was made with a house-made muck that helped create a deep and tropical estery funk over the two plus weeks of fermentation. Notes include wild strawberry, banana leaf, cacao bean and sweet chiles. An eye-opeing bottle.
