This La Familia cuvée comes from vines owned by his cousin - he shares the same green philosophy. Staff Pick Notes

This is a classic Cabernet Franc from the Loire Valley. On the nose you'll notice light green notes and a bit of licorice. On the palate, classic vegetable notes are followed by dark fruit flavors and minerality. It's a medium to full-bodied Chinon with acidity and medium tannin. Because of its body and structure, the green vegetable notes are not too predominant. The result is a very pleasant and well-balanced wine. I believe this wine will mature and will become more velvety in few years. In Chinon, Cabernet Franc is used to make a single varietal wine, which gives you a chance to explore its great qualities.
