Tasting Notes

The province of Modena is known well for its sparkling wines. This is a sparkling rosé made from the Lambrusco di Sorbara grape that was harvested earlier to preserve acidity and freshness. Full of red berried fruits on the palate, off-dry and sparkling. Drink with a good chill.

Staff Pick Notes

People take wine too seriously. In the states, that's because before we started making our own, it was all imported and therefore very expensive, and thus reserved for special occasions, mostly for the well to do. Some people even now want their $10 bottle to be breathtaking, with tasting notes and a cute story. Wine should be for everyone and should be fun and refreshing. Lambrusco Rosé is all that and then some, pink, bubbling, and handsome. The note says it's off-dry, but I found it pretty dry. It's got some nice berry and watermelon fruit, but it's easy and cheerful and not at all serious.
