Staff Pick Notes

Andi Knauss, the producer of this wine has a lot of experience. He trained in Austria, went back to Germany, and in 2004 bought Weingut Knauss. He strictly practices organic viticulture. He doesn't use any chemical pesticide. Harvest is made manually and the grapes are fermented on skin for twelve days and only with indigenous yeast. A light, clean mineral wine with flavors of strawberries, cranberries, and citrus with forest floor aromas. A perfect light-bodied red that can be enjoyed at room temperature or a bit chilled. It can be paired with poultry and cheese. Try it on a summer day!
