Pineau d'Aunis is a uniquely aromatic red wine that comes from the Loire Valley. The vines for this wine are 60 years old. The fruit was hand-harvested and fermented with partial carbonic maceration. Aged in vat for 10 months before bottling.

Le Briseau is one of the founding figures of the Loire’s natural wine renaissance. In fact, they are credited with the first Pét-Nat bottled for the wine market. Pineau d'Aunis is one of two varietals (Chenin being the other) that you'll find on their estate and what you'll find in Patapon. They were one of the first vignerons to practice biodynamic farming and are non- interventionist winemakers. Patapon has dreamy aromas of strawberry compote and violets. The palate shows a mouthwatering acidity, red and black cherries, mild tannins and a touch of chocolate. Just awesome alongside a chunk of aged goat gouda.
