Having lived in Summit County for three years and enjoying all the outdoor activity I could handle, I wish I was able to have this newcomer to help take the edge off the cold high-altitude weather. This exhibits a nice spice character due to the 40% rye addition, while being smoothed out with sweet corn % and three years in barrel. Lets talk about the water source now. Coming from the Continental Divide, this water is naturally pure and uninterrupted before making it to the distillery. What you get is a balanced pH for fermentation and a minerality that gives the whiskey distinctiveness. Spicy and sweet, aromatic and long lasting finish this bourbon will appeal to lovers of this category. Cheers!
