Alión is a solid expression of the Tinto Fino grape, also known as Tempranillo. A deliberate and intelligently crafted wine, densely aromatic with anise, toasted spices and black currants exuding from the glass. Voluptuous, creamy tannins add a rounded texture to this lush wine. A fleshy partner to wild, gamey meats, rich sauces and hearty stews. Bodegas Alión is a division of Vega-Sicilia. This wine was matured in 100% new French oak.
