Tasting Notes

A family affair which is most recently has Marc Rossignol at the helm. From a 6 hectare estate located in the village of Volnay but with plots in several villages of the Côte de Beaune. The fruit for this Bourgogne Rouge comes from the lower parts of Volnay and Savigny-les-Beaune. The fruit was hand harvested, fermented and then aged in French oak for 9 months before bottling (no new). Enjoy with a burrata and tomato sandwich.

Staff Pick Notes

“I’d rather drink a Bourgogne from old vines than a Grand Cru on its 4th leaf.” - Becky Wasserman, Burgundy Wine Legend Most of Michel & Marc Rossignol’s vines are sitting in highly esteemed vineyards of Volnay and Pommard. Because of this, the juice they use for their everyday Bourgogne label is far above everyday quality. Taut red fruit, refreshing crushed pepper, red flowers, and developing notes of animal hide. Cru quality staring at you from behind a table wine label.

Terroir,...

Fans of rich, unctuous, and well-oaked Chardonnay will enjoy Chassagne-Montrachet, whose age-worthy offerings offer all the fatness...
