A wild red for an adventurous palate. The winery name, Barbacarlo, comes from the very hill in which it was named after, and is a reference to the dialect word "barba" which means "uncle" which was given to the winery when uncle Carlo first made this blend generations ago. This is a blend of the local grapes Croatina, Uva Rara and Ughetta.
